Proudest Ninja Accomplishment: My proudest ninja accomplishment was probably back in August of 2022 when I got the opportunity to race the ninja legend, Jessie Graff, and ended up beating her in a side-by-side race. This was very significant to me because I grew up admiring her and watching her on tv, and to get the chance to race her side-by-side was incredible. She’s such a cool lady!
About me: My name is Jaleesa Himka, I’m from Colorado Springs, Colorado, I’m 15 years old, and I’m a sophomore in high school. I started ninja at the age of 6 when my mom would run Ninja Warrior camps for kids, and I immediately excelled at the sport at a fast pace. I did my first ninja competition when I was 9 years old and ended up placing high amongst mainly adults, and have been training hard ever since then. Not only do I do ninja, but I also play varsity basketball, soccer, and Obstacle Course Racing. Back in September of 2021 and 2022, my mom and I competed in OCR World Championships, and I ended up winning first place in every event that I competed in, 2 years in a row. When I’m not doing ninja, I enjoy biking, running, exploring, skiing, being in the sun, and the ocean, listening to music, baking, cooking, and hanging out with friends.
