Just like most of us, I fell in love with Ninja because of the show. I was pretty active and daring on the playground but never tried Ninja… UNTIL, I heard about ANWJR! I tried out, which was really hard for me, and was chosen for season 1. I started training in my back yard and 2 months later, I was in LA. Even though I didn’t make “the sweet 16”, it was one of the greatest things I’ve experienced so far. That is what lead me to the sport of Ninja. The Ninja community is SO supportive ! I suffer from severe ADHD and that makes it very hard to keep friends. But with Ninja, high energy is good, and I can be a little more of myself. Not to mention it is a great outlet for my ADHD and the training allows me to not take medication. Thank you ANW!!

Linking laches are my favorite obstacle.
My favorite thing about the Ninja community is not just the sport, but the people you meet and the friends that you make.
Being selected to be on and a part ANWJR Season 1 was such an incredible experience that I will never forget. Even though I didn’t make it as far as I could have, I enjoyed every moment and it fueled my passion for the sport. This lead to me winning competitions, placing 3rd in the World Ninja Games, and standing on podiums next to some of the best Ninjas in the world.
