Before finding her way to ninja warrior, Kayla fought through a 75lbs weight loss journey to rediscover her strength. She was inspired to find something that challenged her to face her fears and prove to herself that it was never too late to do big things. She now is a 2x American Ninja Warrior and goes by the Sunflower Ninja due to the joy and light she brings to the course. The quote that guides her life is “Delays are never denials” meaning that there is a season and a reason for everything that happens in our life, and our only job is to show up for it and trust the path ahead of us.
